During your 12 weeks at I/O Avenue, you will learn the fundamental skills and mindset needed to become a great software developer. Technical topics include:

  • Programming fundamentals

  • Source control and team collaboration tools

  • How to read and use technical documentation

  • Debugging and testing

  • Clean coding principles

Through project-based learning, you will gain experience being a resourceful problem solver, lifelong learner, and team player.

Is there any funding assistance to pay for the program tuition?

Joining the I/O Avenue program is an investment in your career and future. In addition to using personal or family funds, you can pay for the program tuition using:

A Personal Loan from TLFCU

I/O Avenue has partnered with the Tallahassee-Leon Federal Credit Union (TLFCU) to offer you low-interest loans to pay for program tuition.

Note: when applying for the loan, select "Tech Hire I/O" on the application form.

A Scholarship from CareerSource Capital Region

Using state and federal funding, CareerSource is able to assist qualified students in paying for their I/O Avenue program tuition. Restrictions apply. Contact CareerSource for more details.
